Dr. Eliot EdwardsDr. Eliot W. Edwards received his BS in Physics with a concentration in Chemistry from SUNY, Oneonta in 1990 and his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002 - one of the four federally recognized and accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools in the US.

Prior to attending Naturopathic Medical School, Dr. Edwards worked as an environmental consultant for 8 years - performing hazardous waste cleanups, soil and groundwater sampling, and waste disposal.  His experience in the environmental field helped him realize the detrimental impact that our polluted environment is having on the health of our population.

Besides maintaining his two offices, Dr. Edwards has been an adjunct faculty member at SUNY, Oneonta since 2003.  He teaches health and exercise physiology courses in the Physical Education Department.  These courses are part of the Personal Health and Wellness Minor offered at SUNY, Oneonta.  As well, he has developed internships for students completing this minor.

Dr. Edwards is the past Vice President of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians, a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Medicine.  Dr. Edwards has served on committees with the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the New York Comprehensive Cancer Control Work Group, and a steering committee for the inclusion of Complementary and Alternative Medicine in the curriculum at Albany Medical College.

Dr. Edwards has lectured extensively at various community forums and hospitals in New York including New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY, St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY and at the Women’s Health Symposium sponsored by Fox Hospital and Basset Hospital in Oneonta, NY.
